Our pleated pool cartridges are designed for large swimming pools, infant pools, SPA and aquaculture circulation. Polyester media or PP is pleated and the end caps are moulded directly onto the pack, so the seal cannot bypass.
Construction
Polyester fibre media, nylon centre core, polyurethane end caps and a moulded O-ring. Outside diameters of 65, 68, 110 and 114 mm are standard, with lengths from 5″ to 40″ and other sizes to order. The pleated design gives a much larger surface area than a comparable spun cartridge, which lowers pressure drop and extends service life.
Where it is used
Commercial and residential pools, SPA and bathing facilities, acrylic infant pools, aquaculture, RO pre-filtration, cooling towers and industrial water loops. Filtration ratings of 1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 µm are available; working pressure is up to 4.0 bar at 80 °C.
Selection notes
Send the outside diameter, overall length, end-cap style and the required micron rating. If you are matching an existing cartridge, a photo of the cartridge next to a ruler is the fastest way to confirm the geometry.
