To quote accurately we need five things. Any of them can be estimated if you are not sure — we will confirm the assumption with you before production.
- Reference or model — the competitor part number, our model, or a photo of the element with dimensions.
- Flow rate — rated flow through the filter in L/min, not the pump displacement.
- Working pressure — including peak pressure if the circuit has pressure spikes.
- Filtration rating — the micron rating and, if known, the β-ratio required.
- Medium and temperature — mineral oil, phosphate ester, emulsion, water-glycol, water or air, and the operating temperature range.
Quantity, packing requirements and destination port let us quote the delivered cost at the same time.
